ABOUT US
Established in 2006, Justice Transitions, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that serves at-risk adults in our communities, through diverse and varied coalitions. We work in conjunction with other organizations to foster successful re-entry programs and help remove ineffective barriers and obstacles that increase recidivism and hamper success.
Justice Transitions embraces the principles of "Restorative Justice" and the management style of "COSA Circles of Support and Accountability" for restitution and rehabilitation.
Our Mission
Justice Transition seeks to end the cycle of crime and violence by helping those re-entering society transition from confinement to freedom in an environment that provides them with the greatest likelihood of success in their community.
Justice Transitions seeks to extend methods of Restorative Justice, facilitating thru support in; therapies and education with programming that empowers victims and those at risk to full restorations where appropriate and possible.

EFFECTIVE 1/15/2026: Justice Transitions can no longer provide assistance in finding stable housing for persons with past sexual offenses, due to restrictions proposed by the FL Legislators that will significantly reduce the number of available “legal” addresses. It is a problem created by the Legislators and can only be corrected by them. For more information see this CALL TO ACTION.
